👶 For Guests Under Age 3

We understand that some toddlers may have sensory sensitivities or medical needs. Therefore, grip socks are not required for guests under the age of 3.

• Children under 3 may choose to go barefoot or wear Kids City grip socks, depending on their comfort.

👧 For Guests Ages 3 and Up
Exceptions Are For Documented Medical or Sensory Conditions Only

Kids City requires all guests ages 3 and up to wear grip socks. However, in rare, case-by-case situations, a limited exception may be granted only for guests with a diagnosed medical condition, sensory processing disorder, or developmental need that prevents them from wearing grip socks.

 Additional Requirements for Approved Exceptions

Before any exception is granted, the following must be completed:

• A manager must approve the exception after hearing the specific medical or sensory concern

• A parent/guardian must sign a Grip Sock Exception Waiver Addendum, acknowledging:

  • The safety risks of not wearing Kids City grip socks

  • That this is a one-time exception (unless renewed)

  • That the guest/family accepts full responsibility

✅ Approved Alternatives (If Exception is Granted)

For Children (Ages 3+):

• Their own grip socks (non-slip required)

• Barefoot (only allowed during non-peak hours)

• Shoes with clean disposable shoe covers ("booties")

  - Shoes must be clean and approved by staff
  - Booties must fully cover the soles and be securely fastened
For Adults:

• Any socks (with understanding that grip may be reduced)

• Shoes with clean disposable shoe covers ("booties")

  - Same conditions as above
